Your Attention Please: For all those who thought we were having a boy… (buzzer noise) thanks for playing.
On Sunday morning, April 13th at 6:48am we welcomed Sofia Michelle into the world. She was 6lbs 4oz (sopping wet) and 18 1/2 inches long. Elise did absolutely amazing and is recovering quickly. Our other two are a little confused about this third child that is no longer in mommy’s belly, isn’t going back in mommy’s belly, and who doesn’t eat food like we do. ”No JohnPaul, she’s not going back inside mommy…” “Maggie, stop sticking your finger in her eye…” “No, she doesn’t want some of your M&M’s…” “Maggie, stop sticking your finger in her eye…” This morning, both Maggie and JP decided they were going to share their Thomas the Tank Engine trains (all of them) with Sofia. They just kept coming and coming and Sofia took it like a champ.
Anyway, we are blessed to have her and she smiled (not really) for the camera a few times. So check her out! (all these pictures were taken only a few minutes after she was born.)
WARNING: She looks a little like an old man and has more wrinkles then my grampa!!!
WARNING: If you make any comments about how she looks like an old man I’ll mail you a dirty diaper.
WARNING: Lot’s of naked baby ahead!!!!

I don’t know what happened, I was inthe middle of leaving a comment and the screen went blank, so if you already heard this sorry…She is beautiful even though she sort of resembles a cross between Pop-pop and Yoda…you should have seen Paul when he was born…he looked like he went 10 rounds with Mike tyson and look at him now…gorgeous!!! Lucas kind of looked like and old man too…a really skinny one, in fact, I threw the newborn pics in the garbage. I found out months later that Mark retrieved them. I’ll show then to you some time…anyway, they grow into their swollen faces. It’s pretty traumatizing on the poor little things. I love her and can’t wait to meet her…She’s absolutely precious!!!!! Love Aunt Jen
Welcome to the world, Sofia Michelle.

Thanks so much my peeps! Jen, that’s a good call about pop-pop and yoda! Classic
Dear Sofia, You are beautiful, I just want to take you in my arms and give you a big kiss. It won’t be long for that to happen. Grandma and your Pop will be with you in August. We’ll give your Mom and Dad a night off on the town and Gradma and I will babysit for you. With all my love, your Pop
CONGRATULATIONS from the Pepe’s!
How wonderful it is to hear the news of your newest blessing! It brings a tear to my eyes as I see the pictures of this new little life just after seeing our beloved Pope arrive in Washington on EWTN. It might be silly but I get star struck when I see the Pope and I get a little of the same feelings seeing one of our Lord’s newest little souls arrive for us to care for. Our bonus…SHE’S FAMILY and WE CAN’T WAIT TO MEET HER and see the rest of the family again! WOO-HOO! Please take care and never forget you are all in the Pepe Family prayers every day.
We love you!
